Pilates matwork classes

A one-hour matwork pilates class to strengthen the core and key muscles, enhance postural awareness and improve mobility, using small equipment such as resistance bands and pilates chi balls and tennis balls. A perfect low-impact exercise option for those who don’t like to pound the pavement or get sweaty in the gym, but who love meaningful quality movement.

Suitable for all levels, though we recommend you get clearance from your treating physiotherapist or doctor if you have a current injury, to ensure you can participate safely. An ability to get on/off the floor is required.

You can expect to find your core, as well as some muscles you didn’t know you had in this class, as you move through pilates-style repertoire on your mat.

Reformer Pilates classes

A 50-minute reformer pilates class for all levels of experience. You will work through a series of exercises that use the spring resistance of the reformer machines to strengthen, tone and mobilise your body. Exercises may be enhanced with use of small equipment such as pilates rings and chi balls.

Suitable for all levels, though we recommend you get clearance from your treating physiotherapist or doctor if you have a current injury, to ensure you can participate safely. An ability to independently get on/off a reformer is required.

Grippy socks are ESSENTIAL for this class, no socks = no workout.
