A one-hour matwork pilates class to strengthen the core and key muscles, enhance postural awareness and improve mobility, using small equipment such as resistance bands and pilates chi balls and tennis balls. A perfect low-impact exercise option for those who don’t like to pound the pavement or get sweaty in the gym, but who love meaningful quality movement.
Suitable for all levels, though we recommend you get clearance from your treating physiotherapist or doctor if you have a current injury, to ensure you can participate safely. An ability to get on/off the floor is required.
You can expect to find your core, as well as some muscles you didn’t know you had in this class, as you move through pilates-style repertoire on your mat.
