A 60-minute meditation session that is intended to foster mindfulness, calm and relaxation. Ideal for anyone who wants to take a break from the rush and stress of modern life, and to take time to pause, recharge and restore balance.
Regular meditation is great for assisting mental clarity and emotional balance during stressful times such as exam periods, work deadlines, and busy parenting schedules.
Classes are experienced in supported positions on mats, using bolsters, blocks and blankets to ensure comfort. Your instructor Helen will take you through a series of guided breathing, self massage, and gentle movement-based exercises such as qigong/tai chi style movements to assist you to find stillness and calm before moving into guided meditation. Classes are non-denominational, and open to anyone who wishes to practice mindfulness. No previous experience required.
