Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to a yoga class?
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Activewear, or a simple T-shirt and shorts is ideal. In cooler months you may wear additional layers. We provide high quality studio mats, which are cleaned after every class. You may also bring your own mat if you prefer. You may like to bring a water bottle and sweat towel if required as well.
How do I pay for and book classes?
You can view the timetable, pay for classes, and book your place all easily and conveniently online using the Timetable & Bookings page or using the Mindbody App on your smart phone or tablet. When you sign up, you will need to complete the registration process, which creates a MindBody account for you. Your contact and payment information is securely stored in this account, and the next time you wish to book or pay, you simply select the classes you wish to attend. You will receive email notifications when you sign up to or cancel a class or make a payment.

We encourage clients to book ahead of class to streamline payments, and to ensure they reserve a place in class, as numbers are limited, for both casual attendance and regular attendance. If you do this - simply check in when you arrive for class, and then head straight into the studio and begin preparing for class!

We can process payments in the studio if you forget to book online - please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start to allow for this. Please note we only accept credit cards and VISA or Mastercard Debit cards. We CANNOT accept cash or cheques.
How can I see which classes I have attended, or print a receipt?
You can do all of this by logging into your Mindbody Account and viewing the My Info tab. If you require assistance, simply contact us at [email protected]
I'd like to do yoga/pilates classes, but I'm not sure I should due to injury, illness or other reasons?
We recommend you contact our Studio Manager, Lauren at [email protected] with your queries. Lauren is a qualified physiotherapist, yoga and pilates instructor. She will be able to discuss your concerns, and help you decide whether classes are an appropriate and safe option for you, or if you should undertake rehabilitation or seek medical clearance first. Where appropriate Lauren is able to provide physiotherapy services to assist with return to yoga/pilates classes at the Leaf+Bird sister clinic, Thompsons Road Physiotherapy.
Can I claim classes on my private health insurance?
Some health insurance policies with extras provide rebates for yoga and pilates. The easiest way to find out if you are covered is to speak with your insurer.

Please note we do not currently offer HiCAPS claiming on site, so if you do qualify for rebates, you will need to claim directly with your health fund. Every time you make a purchase online, an invoice is emailed to your nominated address (check your junk mail). If you need assistance with invoicing, please email us at [email protected]
